Welcoming Evolution’s expansion into West Michigan!
It was an honor to participate in the grand opening ceremony of Evolution’s new Grand Rapids studio. This was a great investment that has already brought jobs to the community and has the goal of reaching 300 jobs by the end of the year.
It was a pleasure welcoming Evolution to Grand Rapids, and I was happy to present a state of Michigan tribute to celebrate this investment in West Michigan and the opportunities it creates for our community.

Joining the fight against domestic violence in Kent County
I recently participated in the meeting to further work on how we can expand efforts to prevent violent tragedies.
These meetings provide an opportunity for elected officials to learn from and listen to industry leaders on the important work that is happening in West Michigan and what resources and services are available and being provided to those in need.
I am happy to be a part of these conversations about what can be done to expand this partnership and help ensure more resources are available!

Congratulations to Michigan First Credit Union on 100 years of serving Michigan families and communities!

Twenty-five years after 9/11, we remember those we lost, honor the heroes who answered the call and reflect on the strength Americans found in coming together.

Supporting Michigan businesses
Most new jobs in Michigan come from small businesses. As a small business owner myself, I understand the challenges entrepreneurs face and the importance of supporting an environment where small businesses can grow and thrive. I am proud to stand with Michigan’s small business community and will continue working to make our state a great place to grow and do business.
for my longstanding support of Michigan businesses and a voting record that has put their interests first.

Protect yourself from AI voice-cloning scams
AI-powered voice cloning is making phone scams more convincing than ever. Scammers can use short audio clips from social media, videos or other online sources to mimic someone you know and trust. They often create a false sense of urgency to steal money or personal information.
| ▪ |
Don’t trust the voice alone. Verify the caller’s identity through a known phone number. |
| ▪ |
Create a family safe word or phrase for emergencies. |
| ▪ |
Be cautious of requests for money, gift cards, cryptocurrency or personal information. |
| ▪ |
Contact banks and organizations directly using official phone numbers. |
| ▪ |
Limit public recordings of your voice on social media when possible. |
