Dear neighbor,
Following the horrific tragedy that took the lives of three students and injured five others on the campus of Michigan State University, Senate Democrats were quick to introduce a package of 11 bills to create stricter gun laws.
While some claim this legislation would provide for greater public safety, there are many questions about how these measures could have prevented recent tragedies and real concerns that some of these proposals would significantly infringe upon the constitutional rights of law-abiding citizens.
