Dear neighbor,
The State Board of Education has proposed changes to the Michigan health standards that could turn health class into a sex education class.
These changes are usurping parental rights, and I will be demanding that the Michigan State Board of Education reject and withdraw these changes.

Normalize dangerous, unhealthy behavior to children, pushing sexual promiscuity, queer gender theory and other perversions as early as sixth grade. |
| ▪ |
Sow distrust between parents and children, teaching even the youngest children to question whether their parents are “trusted adults” and “safe” to talk to. |
| ▪ |
Sidestep transparency laws by reclassifying “sex education” as “health education,” silencing clergy and skirting laws that require parents to be notified. |
| ▪ |
Offer no clear parental opt-out, as health class is required for K-12 students. |

Michigan law (MCL 380.1507) establishes clear standards for local districts that choose to teach elective sex education courses, requiring local control of curriculum.
